Srila Prabhupada's Vyasa Puja

Wednesday, 16th of August | Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha Mandir

His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the Founder Acarya of the International Society for Krishna consciousness appeared in this world one day after Janmastami. Srila Prabhupad’s Appearance Day is a very special day for all ISKCON devotees as they joyfully glorify their eternal saviour Srila Prabhupada on His appearance day.

Srila Prabhupada was sent by the Lord to fulfill Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s prediction- "Prtvithe ache yata nagaradi grama, sarvatra pracara haibe more nama": In every town and village of the world, My name will be heard.

Srila Bhakti Vinoda Thakura wrote in his Sajjona-tosani, “Soon there will be a time when the chanting of Krishna’s name will be heard in England, France, Russia, Germany and America.”

Srila Prabhupada was born in 1896 on the day of Nandotsava (the next day of Janmastami). Srila Prabhupada grew up as a pure devotee of the Lord and distributed Krishna Consciousness everywhere.

Srila Prabhupada made a perfect appearance, led a perfect life and had a perfect departure. Srila Prabhupada lives forever through His books. This legacy will always provide the devotees with Lord Caitanya katha and teach everyone to chant the Hare Krsna Maha mantra.

On 16th August, the program will start from 10 am with offering homages to Srila Prabhupada. This will followed by Abhishek, Guru puja and Sumptuous feast. Please bring your friends and families and attend this wonderful occasion. Hare Krsna!

Culture of Speech - Retreat with HH Bhakti Rasamrita Swami

Saturday 9th September - Sunday 10th September | Long Point Conference Centre - 20 Wills Rd, Long Point NSW

We are delighted to invite you to attend this two day retreat with His Holiness Bhakti Rasamrita Swami at Long Point Conference Centre. The retreat will be over two days, from Saturday the 9th of September to Sunday the 10th of September.

We use our speech everyday but seldom do we realise its power. It leaves a profound impact on: others…our minds…our consciousness. What role does speech play in the life of a devotee?

Understand the principles and develop a practical understanding by hearing examples from our scriptures of: when to speak & when to remain silent? what to say & what not to say? who to speak to & who not to speak to? how to say & how not to say?
