We would like to invite you to
Hare Krishna, The Film!

SYNOPSIS: Hare Krishna! is a documentary on the life of Srila Prabhupada – the 70-year old Indian Swami who arrived in America without support or money in the turbulent 1960s. With only his unflinching determination and faith, he ignited the worldwide spiritual phenomenon, now known as the Hare Krishna movement.

This is the true story of an unexpected, prolific, and at times controversial, revolutionary whose books have sold over 520 million copies and who has inspired millions of seekers and yoga enthusiasts worldwide. Using neverbefore- seen archival verite, his own recorded words and interviews with scholars and his early followers, the film takes the audience behind-thescenes of this spiritual movement to meet the Swami who started it all.

Lord Nityananda Comes to Sydney

18th of November | North-Ryde-School-of-Arts

ISKCON Sydney is very pleased to announce to our congregation of devotees, well-wishers and friends the most auspicious arrival of the TOVP Tour to our temple on SAT Nov 18 2017. The TOVP (Temple of the Vedic Planetarium) is ISKCON’s Flagship project under construction in the Holy Dhama of Sri Mayapur, West Bengal, the sacred birthplace of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, since 2009 and scheduled for completion in 2022.

The tour is led by Lord Nityananda in the form of His Padukas (Holy Shoes), Lord Nrsimha in the form of His Sitari (Sacred Helmet), accompanied by the head pujari of the Mayapur temple, Jananivas prabhu, Ambarisa prabhu, the Chairman of the TOVP and great grandson of the famous U.S. car manufacturer Henry Ford, along with his wife Svaha mataji, and the TOVP Global Fundraising Director, Vraja Vilas das.

The TOVP was the vision and desire of ISKCON Founder/Acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada to help educate the world about the importance of Vedic wisdom and the human form of life as a challenge to modern materialistic and atheistic culture, and a solution to all the problems of existence. Without such scientific spiritual knowledge, both philosophical and practical, the purpose of human life, Krishna consciousness, will be lost and human civilization will gradually degenerate to animal life. It is a vision that he predicted would propel the Hare Krishna movement’s influence into the future as the leading spiritual Institution for the next ten thousand years.

“Practically this institution is the real U.N. We have the co-operation from all nations, all religions, all communities, etc. It will be an International Institute. To see the planetarium and how things are universally situated has nothing to do with sectarian ideas. It is a scientific presentation of spiritual life.” - Srila Prabhupada Letter to Jayapataka Swami, June 26, 1976

Historically, the Australian temples were the first to finance the development of the Mayapur project in the early 1980’s. As the old saying states, “What goes around comes around”. To reciprocate the devotion of the Australian Yatra, Lord Nityananda is personally coming to offer His blessings to all the devotees. Don’t miss this opportunity for His darshan and mercy and to find out about this astounding temple, the “adbhuta mandir” predicted by Lord Nityananda Himself.
